    Frequently asked questions

Will it cut into the speech?

The threshold decides. At -50 dB only near-silence is removed; if quiet words disappear, choose the gentler -60 dB setting.

Can I use this on a podcast recording?

Yes. "Every pause" is made for that: long gaps shrink to a quarter second and the recording keeps its rhythm.

    Is this private?

Yes. The processing happens entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded.
